Mango, Jane Norman, Primark, Zara, Oasis

1gglePiggle · 05/09/2011 22:18

Thought Jane Norman had gone into administration?

TrillianAstra · 05/09/2011 22:18

Anywhere you like - there isn't a bouncer on the door of John Lewis checking for ID.

I would add Dorothy Perkins to the list. And New Look. And Warehouse.

louloubellamozzarella · 05/09/2011 22:24

Warehouse is so good this season!

ASOS all the way for me :) they sell Warehouse, River Island, Oasis, Mango and loadsa other brands. If they are doing a £ off promo you can use it on all stock and they offer free delivery and returns (I don't work form them honest) :)

I was shopping with DH only yesterday and telling him how I'd wasted my 20s by not living in hotpants. Because I could have done!

Shop a.n.y.w.h.e.r.e.

Because you can Envy Smile

LiveYourBestLife · 06/09/2011 02:21

All the clothes seem the same the moment. If you can get to a fashion outlet, eg. Cheshire Oaks the choices will be greater, cheaper and exclusive. If I had a choice and the cash I would choose Vivenne Westwood!!!!!

spiderslegs · 06/09/2011 02:54

I did spend my early 20's in hotpants (with Woolfords underneath).

Did I regret it?

I did not.

& the corsets, rubber & fur.

& the shoes, oohhh, the shoes, straps, heels.

Richmond, Westwood, Hamnett, Gaultier, Sue Rowe (anyone remember her?).

Spend the money, buy the clothes, you're too young & too beautiful to be clad in rubbish.

Try Christopher Kane, Acne, Sandro, Isabel Marant, look at them, try & find on the high street, have a look at APC Madrass, J Crew, CC California...

So much beyond the crowd - seek & ye shall find.....

Second the vote for French Connection (how I love thee), and add maybe Reiss, Ted Baker or Urban Outfitters.

Ambernj1 · 06/09/2011 07:42

Grin at Trillian's JL bouncer!

I'm 26 and I like Zara, Mango, Reiss, Whistles, Uniqlo etc. Department stores are great for a range of brands.

To be honest I don't think age is really a limiting factor - as long as you steer clear of M&S Classics (and probably Per Una) you'll be golden...
