I want to colour a jacket (cotton). can you recommend a good dye?

jacket is a kind of army colour (greenish/brownish ). colour looks hilarious on me but the cut is lovely so I would like to dye it black.

any recommendations for a good and easy to use (have only ever dyed my hair Grin ) dye?

Dylon machine dye- dead easy and good even colour in my experience. Just bear in mind that the stitching will probably be polyester, and will therefore not take the dye. A black jacket with green stitching may or may not be the effect you were going for...
