What's 'in'? Are fascinators considered naff now? Are hats making a comeback?

Hats at weddings are best if your the mother of the "to be weds" as negotiating space when talking, sitting and bending can be a challenge. Weather must be considered, the cost may be better spent on a wash, style and cut for the day or maybe hair extensions.
