Boots won't zip up!

I'm sure there will have been similar threads to this before so apologies in advance

Every year I endure misery in shoe shops all over town trying on boots only to find the zip won't do up much past my ankle. Both irritating and embarrassing.

I'm 5ft 6, and not fat. I guess my calf length is just...short...

Does anyone else have this problem? I just want a nice pair of boots like everyone else and I hope NOT to have to resort to the Shoe Tailor...

www.duoboots.com

there's no point in trying anywhere else when you can get any boots on that site in a perfect fit.

it's expensive but they last if you look after them.

Yes Duo are fab fab fab, they last for ages and if they are too expensive get them on sale when they have good reductions. Love them and wouldn't go anywhere else for calf length boots (including now I've moved to NZ, luckily they ship here!).

"It's the one area of your body that you cannot reduce with dieting. "
The only time I managed to reduce my calf circumference was when I was in hospital and unable to stand up for 6 week.
I also purchase from Duo. I've spent too much of my life trying to squeeze calf muscle into boots in shoe shops.

So E is the foot width? Blush

Maybe there's hope after all!

T.K Maxx might be worth a look - these have an elastic panel so should be comfortable.

I tried these on today and they were lovely but too wide on the calf. That was standard fit, and apparently they also do wide.
I have never had that problem before - usually i can only zip them up to 2 inches from the top. They're a bit pricey, but other boots I've had from there have lasted years.
