Urgent shoe quandry ! STYLE EMERGENCY

I want these shoes , they're fab, they will be worn with a black Galaxy-esque dress, plain and on the knee length. My quandry is, would it be a huge mistake to get the red ? Or could I get away with it if I wore a nice red-themed neck thing ? I know black, black all the way would be classic and the shoes would go with more things, blah, blah, but I do like em.

I'd wear the red ones but with no red jewellery.
Just the black dress with red shoes, I think the red jewellery will make it look tacky.

(although I could be wrong, I'll wait to see if malory agrees)

really depends on whether you want people speculating as to whether you are wearing knickers all evening...

were you planning on going bare legged? If not, I'd say no.

If you have outfits that go with them then why not, very nice. Although have to say I personally would go for black as get more wear out of them.

(Actually I'd break my neck wearing them so I wouldn't really wear them but you get my drift)

I think the shoes are incredible and fab, but I wouldn't go for the pink.

The dress is rather demure and the shoes aren't tacky, so I'm not worried about being percieved as a loose woman because I'm wearing red shoes

Looking at them again, the red looks a bit orangey, maybe I should go for the petrol blue verion of the dress and get the petrol blue shoes I've been eyeing up, instead ?

The problem is, you will really need to match the red exactly, otherwise it will cheapen whole outfit (which sounds gorgeous btw) but matching reds will be a mare....

is it your DH's xmas do? Maybe it's just the men I know, but they all seem obsessed with the 'red shoes, no knickers' phrase....

seriously - red will look a bit crap with tights, but nice bare-legged. Agree, no red beads, will spoil the dress.

The red shoes do look orangey but I bet they're not in RL. Can you order them but send them back if they are orange?

again IMHO the balck will look very normal, if you want to look more than normal(duurrrr can't think a word to describe it) then the it's got to be the red.

I just don't know about the red. I love them but I just don't know whether to play it safe and elegant. I areally am genuinely stumped on this one.
