M&S Has anybody got or tried these?

Saw these today which are the sort of thing I might have worn when 18 and super-skinny. Am now 41 and a size 12. However, they are surprisingly nice. I didn't buy them because I wasn't quite sure if I'd dared to wear them. Has anybody got them or seen them and if so, how would you wear them? Thanks.

If they are hideous or I am too old or fat for them, please tell me! :)

As with any leg-covering ending in "eggings" - wear something that covers your bum.

The model has her bum on display to show you what the item looks like, but it shouldn't really be worn that way.

God no - I wouldn't dream of showing my bum! They are not leggings and not even 'jeggings' really - they are proper sort of cotton fabric but with a bit of a sheen.

I think they look great, and could safely be worn with a long top/jumper and boots by someone in their forties. Tempted myself, actually!

But it largely depends on how tight they are and how good your legs are.

Legs aren't bad, especially from mid-thigh down!
