Maxi skirt high waist on the hunt for

I'd like the above, preferably without a print. Not acrylic. Sonething slimming too pleas.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?I saw someone wearing one earlier and she looked great. But she was much taller than me.

I was in town today and River Island and Warehouse had plain maxi skirts. Not sure what material they were though - sort of elasticy?
