So, the dress is sorted. Now what sort of underwear should I go for ?

It needs to be of the heavily-lycraed 'magic' variety because the dress is VERY figure hugging and I'll be eating at the function. The dress is a satin type fabric and so any VPL will really show. On that basis am I better off getting the cycling shorts type knickers that end halfway down the thigh (the dress is knee length) ? If I get traditional knicker shaped ones (with the full bum) then I'm pretty sure that the VPL will be obvious. HELP !

Passion killers

any chance of going commando? eliminates VPL and no ridges where anything stops

NomDePlumPudding · 08/12/2005 09:23

I could, but I'd rather not. I'd like something to hold my mildly convex () tum in, the dress fabric is unforgiving !

what about those slim and lift silhoutette type things you see on shopping channels

doormat · 08/12/2005 09:25

ps not saying you need it but they look like they are just seam free from bottom of bust to mid leg

NomDePlumPudding · 08/12/2005 09:26

like an old lady's girdle type thing ?

I also need a bra. I'm thinking that a balconette is the way to go shapewise, but I always seem to look 'spilly' in them, no matter what size I go for.

Is there one out there that will give me a nice shape but without the milkmaid effect ? I'm a 32E or F (depending on manufacturer and time of the month), so 'spilly' kind of comes with the territory !

'wow' 32E how gorgeous is that? presumably you are bezzy mates with bravissimo?

Hi

I wore a body wrap which is basically support tights for your body. it comes up below your bra so you can wear whatever bra you like and there was a thong option.
