Boys' shoes, not trainers?

I did the shoe shop yesterday, in Clarkes (local one in village, so miles easier than trecking into town).

School shoes were relatively easy, and also bought some smart "out of school" shoes for DS2 for weekends etc.

I am struggling with DS1, aged 7. he has trainers for school and for sport (tennis etc), but doesn't like trainers just to wear during the day. Clarkes don't do any boys casual shoes for his age that aren't trainers.

What on earth do 7 plus years boys wear on their feet?

Geox , Timberland, Skechers and Merrell all do shoes which are practical but less trainer like - try looking at Clinkards online.

Brilliant, thanks. Just what I was after. X
