Fraxel or IPL laser for sunspots

I have some facial sunspots from too many years living in the sun. I'm getting conflicting advice on the best way to have them removed. One therapist is telling me Fraxel and another IPL. Help!

I think you will get the same result in the end. I think IPL you should need 6 or more treatments, Fraxel you would need 3 treatments and theres a new version of Fraxel out that only requires 1 treatment - can't remember the name of it though.

would love to hear anyone who has had the fraxel treatment. I was recomended this for enlarged pores as a big help (not 100% removal) and also for skin redness. I'd like to hear about the side affects and recover time and any other comments.

There is also the dermaroller which looks promising.
