What colour nail polish with a red dress?

I have bought this dress from Zara for a friend's birthday tomorrow. I don't know what colour nail polish to wear... Help!

Red- bit matchy matchy
Black- Maybe Emo/Punky, but a possibility?
Natural/French Manicure- bit "straight"

Maybe a navy blue? Or goldy/silvery/pewter colour?

I only stopped biting my nail about 6 months ago and I am a massive sucker for bright or unusual coloured nails! (Making up for lost time!)

Taupe or brown.

I would wear a colour that is deliberately clashing like Orange or bright pink. So long as its bright not pastel.

What colour shoes are you wearing? Could you match to those?

I like very dark red varnish with bright red clothes. Also a flattish blue colour.

Nude. Like the shoe colour. Called names like malt, milkshake.

Though I'm biased as it's my favourite colour at the moment
