merinho wool jumpers from gap

anyone tried washing one of these in a machine on a cold/wool wash?
the label says hand-wash only, but i am a lazy sod and wondered if I could do it in the machine.
don't wanna risk it shrinking or bobbling tho'!

I've hand washed a woolen since the machine woool was was invented and all my woolies are perfect, including Boden merino and lambswool stuff
I draw the line at cashmere/angora - I do handwash that

I've NOT handwashed.....

I've done cashmere on a wool wash but tend to do wool washes on cold cycles just to be extra sure. Use detergent for delicates as well.

I had a merino poloneck that I recently put in the machine too.

Nothing has shrunk... yet!
