I want to change my hair colour. I have an appointment today. The only photo I can find with exactly what I want is a photo of Ms J Aniston.

I am 40 and therefore feel a tad at the thought of taking in a sleb photo.

Will I be laughed out of the salon? :o

No hair dressers love a visual and you can be sure they will know what you want exactly with some photographic proof. Celebs drive hair trends, totally normal to take in a photo.

It is definitely the colour I am after. I have googled for something similar but nothing comes close. It's that golden brown with fine, sunkissed blonde highlights.

I have left my hair for far too long between colours as I wanted to show the colourist just how incredibly white my natural hair is now through the crown and fringe. My feeling is that the white will blend much better through fine highlights than against the solid, dark brunette I have now.
