Bored with hair....can you recommend in SW London?

have been going to same hairdressers for about 6 years, and have a sort of choppy bob, but am sure it could look better.
Current hairdresser really nice, but am a bit fed up. I think I need new thoughts on colour as well.
Does anyone know someone good in Kingston/RIchmond/Wimbledon areas?

I have a veda colour at the moment which am not too keen on.

You might consider going up to town - that's what I do and I live near are you mention.

Used to go to Aveda salon in Covent Garden - cut was great but I found the colour, though it looked fine, washed out faster than good old L'oreal.

'area' not 'are'!

I too would really recommend the Aveda in Wimbledon - Jo is fantastic. I switched recently (used to trek into town) and much happier

Two recommendations for the Aveda salon.......
I fancy going for a Mary Portas look but not the same colour.
My hair is dark brunette, but I feel it's too dark as I get older.
What sort of prices do they charge?
I pay about £100 every 6 weeks for cut and regrowth.

I use a stylist in Ealing if you fancy going a little further...he's worth it!

Hellishday · 19/08/2011 12:14

Ealing a bit too far...but I have booked a consultation with Cliff at Gina COnway on Tuesday!
Will let you know.

Estelle at headmasters in Wimbledon is great or Martin at rush.

Hellishday · 19/08/2011 12:27

I had the worst haircut ever at Rush in Wimbledon, and have also been through HEadmasters.

Oh no I do think it depends who u have, I had some rubbish people at H-masters but Estelle is great, I went to rush recently when couldn't get appointment with Estelle and was impressed with Martin did v nice colour.

The salons on ridgway up in the village look quite nice too..

Hellishday · 19/08/2011 12:42

I have been to Jon Carne in the village, but found the end result wasn't worth the money.

Hellishday, you can get £20 off your first appointment on the Gina Conway website - good luck! If better for you they have an August special instead - free shampoo & conditioner with a cut & colour (worth £30).
