Day dresses please

Could anyone please help me find a couple of comfy, quite cheap, day dresses?

I like symmetry and quite plain things. Needs to be accessible for breastfeeding, not short or long, and if possible I'd like them to hide my post c-section tummy overhang. Size 12-14 (currently 14 but usually 10, assume I'll deflate at some point...)

Hello Loopy Smile

Do you want long or short sleeved? Any particular colour? Fabric?

tethersend · 17/08/2011 18:15

Sleeveless

Peacocks

Patterned

Plain

LoopyLoopsTootyFroots · 17/08/2011 18:20

Don't mind with the sleeves. Nor colour, really. Prefer cotton, linen or jersey.

Thanks tethers, I'll look at the links now. :)

Hmm, a bit simpler than each of those I think. Quite like this one, but not sure it'll be any good for breastfeeding. I really like wrap-arounds.

Red wrap

LoopyLoopsTootyFroots · 17/08/2011 18:29

I like.

What about this one?

Although, does the red one look a little nursey?

That next one is ok...

A couple from Asda: Here and here...

LoopyLoopsTootyFroots · 17/08/2011 19:20

Quite like those Asda ones, who'd have thought?!

I bloody love asda

MrsSeanBean · 17/08/2011 19:38

I love that Vero Modo dress from Asos! I've never ordered from them before but have just taken the plunge. Bit worried as it's 100% polyester, but hopefully it will be OK - and a bargain!

LoopyLoopsTootyFroots · 17/08/2011 19:39

We don't have one anywhere near, but didn't realise you could get clothes online.

LoopyLoopsTootyFroots · 17/08/2011 19:39

What are their kids clothes like?

OP posts:
tethersend · 17/08/2011 19:40

Let's gloss over the kids clothes...

RollingInTheAisles · 17/08/2011 19:47

Well... I went in M&Co for the first time recently and was slightly pleasantly surprised. I might have even bought something but thought they were still a bit expensive for somewhere I think of as cheap IYSWIM.

LoopyLoopsTootyFroots · 17/08/2011 19:48

Oh, no good then?
