Mirrors

Does anyone use one of those light up, makeup mirrors? My eyesight has deteriorated in the past 2 yrs or so. Wondering if they're any good for getting a better makeup finish? I usually just try to apply in daylight but with early morning starts in winter I know I'm going to get too heavy handed, like last year (if photos are anything to go by!)

Any suggestions?

I have been using one of these for about 10 years. It's great, I love it. It has a magnifying side which is great for eyebrow plucking and has 4 different light settings.
