can anyone point me in the right direction? they all seem to be these brown fluffy creations and i dont want to look like an eskimo (no offence meant to eskimos). i rather like the doc marten malibu ones but cloggs dont have them in my size and i am in a rather small town with rubbish shops

FrenchKissUnderMistletoeGirl · 05/12/2005 20:33

bother
here I mean

ChristmasBaubleBecca81 · 05/12/2005 20:48

jinglinggoblin.. may I ask what shoee size you are? I have a pair of black faux suede knee high boots from Next size 9. I wore them once and I won't wear them again as they are too small.
I only brought them 2.5 weeks ago. They are a flat heel too, as being 5'11" I don't want to be any taller either! They cost me £40, I'd be willing to let them go for £30 or around that.

oh well... I'll give you the link to them as they do them in your size. I'd love to have smaller feet!
the flat stretch long boots 4th pic along on the bottom
Hope you find some soon.

jinglinggoblin · 05/12/2005 21:14

thanks becca, they are nice but im not sure about the heel

ok - stupid question - can you pull up slouch boots so they dont slouch? these would be rather nice if not crinkled

jambothesnowman · 05/12/2005 21:17

got mine in matalan for £20

ChristmasBaubleBecca81 · 05/12/2005 21:19

oh they're lovely... I see what you mean about the heel, not sure about pulling slouch ones up.

jinglinggoblin · 05/12/2005 21:22

didnt think of matalan, have been meaning to have a wander round for kids xmas clothes, will have a look.

i really hate shoe shopping when i actually need shoes. oddly i have over 30 pairs of shoes i bought cos they were pretty but i cant walk in (pre-children, obviously). its the sensible ones i have a problem with!

duo ravenna

binkie · 05/12/2005 22:13

I think I have the same Next ones Becca mentions (the picture makes the heel look an odd shape - in fact it's simple neat & flat) - they're lovely. V nice foot shape, not too narrow, really comfy & go with everything, smart or scruffy. Really recommend.

BluStocking · 05/12/2005 22:32

I have just bought a pair at crazy prices! Hobbs, black suede, flat black crepe soles, but not totally chunky - quite elegant legs - priceplease hold on to something solid lest you collapse!) £159.

BUT the last pair of Hobbs boots I bought lasted over 8 years, with substantial wearing.

jambothesnowman · 06/12/2005 08:54

OMG £159

OhLittleBitShyOfBethlehem · 06/12/2005 09:51

i agree duo ravenna, i have those. i reckpn that's your best bed. FAB!
