I seriously mean tiny ! . Dh bought me a dress today ... its gorgeous ,i love it , can i fit into it ? No . Fine over hips , wont zip up past boobs.

Dh bought me a size 10 .

Today im wearing a size 6 dress from next .

Most dresses i wear an 8 .

Have decided KM 10 , IS NOT SIZE 10 WOMENS , But age 10 child .

Maybe I should shop in Karen millen (size 8/10 with no breasts, small waist and hips).

I find French connection dresses are perfect for my big boobed frame although does depend on the style, i often buy a 12 and boobs fit in perfectly without being to big on my bottom.

I think all that's happened is that KM have not followed the trend towards 'flattering' sizing, i.e. cutting clothes larger and larger so women can feel good about wearing an '8' or a '10' or whatever.

The 'flattering' sizing in Next, M&S and many other shops has become a joke - do they really think they are fooling anyone?

Sorry to sound grumpy, but I'm a scrawny 4/6 and have trouble finding anything to fit anywhere - sometimes even resorting to children's clothes, which are then too short as I'm 5'5. (And one gets some very odd looks in the changing rooms!)

So glad to see this.. I was so upset other day on going to try a size UK dress on. I have been using mounjaro after years of awful weight gain. And finally I could tell I'd lost weight not only can I get a pair of medium jamas on that wouldn't even go over my knees before, but my neighboughs said I'd lost load. Previously I'd needed 16/18. Anyway tried put 2 dresses on other day 1 looked huge that a vinted seller claimed was a 12 so thought it'd easy go on. It didnt and I couldn't even zip it I tyen tried to get a Karen Miller UK 14 dress on and the zip would nowhere near close. Im talking about a 4inch gap still. This left me so disheartened as I'd thought id lost weight and I'm sorry but a 4ich gap would make this as though ive not lost anyweight. Im worried as I was reselling the same dress in a size 16 on ebay ( ive never tried it as just assumed I'd keep 14 as be best with close loosening) im now going to have to get out tape measure and add measurements as I don't wont anyone who buys it mad at me if its miles to small. I really felt frappy. Was googling if our rib cages/ bones widen with age as couldnt figure out how could be so tight
