In October, I'll be going to the evening wedding reception of a more successful uni friend. Need outfit! Budget for dress £100 tops, unless it is extremely fabulous, plus accessories.

This same dress (and accessories) will be used the following week for my own wedding anniversary. Dinner somewhere swanky in london (exact location tbc).

I am 5'11 (so no heels), size 14 (but hope to be a 12...). Mousy/blond hair, blue eyes, pale as can be.

Help! Am on maternity leave so clueless about trends and not the shape I want to be.

This is nice

this would look fab with your pale skin

Giraffes - what are your best/worst bits? You are tall so should look fab in a maxi, but if your legs are the best feature then you possibly wont want to cover them up! Arms/legs/boobs/waist/bottom - what works and what doesn't??

try this and this or this

God, I love you all Smile.
teacups I'm going to try on the Tanya one today - it's cheaper than a similar one I fell in love with at Reiss, so huge thanks.
notyummy not sure of best and worst. Am fairly norkless, and want to hide post-birth my excuse tummy. One problem is being tall- heels make me look like a drag queen, and knee length dresses are too often minis.

If I go with this one linked by teacups, which shoes and clutch?
