I need a dress for my children's christening. All suggestions welcome.

Just that really!! No babies involved, the dc are 5 and 7. Have got their clothes sorted, but now have realised I might need something too. Oops. I have a nice Phase Eight Dress from a friends wedding earlier in the yr but would rather have something a bit longer than that - it's a good few inches above knee and perhaps not good for chasing children and sitting?!

I've got this in purple , would love to wear but I think it's a bit short (on me) as it is about 4" above knee standing, and much shorter sitting
