jeans - just for everyday wear - wheres best?

i have skinnys for going out etc but just want some dark rinse boot cut every day wear jeans.

any recommendations? cheers.

I will be watching this thread with interest. I find it very hard to get jeans that flatter me and don't look either ridiculously tight but also stay up.

Often I try on the ten and the 12 in the shop. Think to myself the ten is too tight, and gives me a muffin top, so I buy the bigger size, but after a month the 12s slouch and make my bum look a bit low slung.

however, saying all that Oasis dark straight jeans are expensive but wear well, the zips don't fall down, the pockets don't stick out and look cheap. IN FACT I think i've talked myself into investing in another pair. the last few pairs of jeans i've bought have been tesco or worse.

I always do well at Gap.

They have different styles/cuts suited to different body types. Also have a good selection of different hues/washes.

Durable, fashionable, good selection, not too pricey.

Bandwithering, we must be twins. I have the exact same problem. I widh they would make size 11 - I'm sure levi used to do this.

11. yeah! that'd be great. calvin klein did those half sizes (as they'd be to us over here, more common in the us I think). I had a pair of size 7 jeans that I got in florida and they fitted me perfectly.

French connection, OASIS or sometimes Next

Levis are good for me. The id curve ones. Expensive but they do fit. I also have a pair of M&S Autograph straight legs which have worn very well too.

bandwithering im a size 12/14 and a pear shape - but with long legs/short body

my last two pairs of skinnys fall down dreadfully,

my boot cuts are from Next and a size 14,they also fall down - i can take them off without undoing them! but a 12 gives me a muffin top and feel too tight.

i want something that flatters and fits! not bothered too massively about the price as i am sick of buying cheap jeans that look terrible and fall down.

you need to go to an outlet mall in america and stock up size 13s.

I did like the Boden ones going out ones but last season they stopped doing them and the boot cut ones seem to have an extra big flap at the front ( and its not like I have a completely flat tummy) oh and plus I am a size 13. I tried Levi curves but I wasn't that impressed and they were going to cost £90 I think so I didn't get them

I'm just wearing out my old ones and hoping they go back to decent styling eventually.

can anybody recommend jeans that aren't high waisted in a fashiony kind of way, but are higher waisted than low rise jeans. I would like something that almost comes up to my navel but not right up to my bust!

New look or gap.

Have a pair of new look straight legs which were £15 or £20 two years ago and they still look like new and I wear them quite often.

Gap as they do waist sizes for us in between girls.

see if you can try these instore.

I am 16-18 and differently shaped, but because of the slight stretch in them, they fit well and don't do muffin top as they are fairly high-waisted.

oh, and New Look jeans as well.

new look zips always fall down and make me look like an eejit.

There's quite a selection of styles in different lengths of Falmer jeans in Matalan.

I'm a short legged pear and had a nightmare finding jeans which fit my bum / thighs and don't gape at the waist until I discovered the Falmer way

Added bonus is they're cheap as chips.

Citizens of Humanity Kelly jeans most flattering jeans ever. And before you gasp at the price you want to wear these everyday.

I wear the M&S slim bootcut. Waist is actually at/just under my waist, very flattering, dead comfortable, and very reasonably priced.

I've recently bought two pairs of Paige Hidden Hills jeans. They are an amazing fit with a higher waist that comes to the belly button and they also do wonders for your bum. They cost £180+ in the UK unfortunately, but I got mine in the US where you can find them for $75...

BandWithering, I am a 16/18 apple shape and I just got a high waisted pair at (whisper it) Asda for the bargain price of £18. Straightforward dark denim bootcut but a high waist. Tried them on in the shop and my muffin top disappeared! However, they are quite fugly round the waist/stomach area but I am not that bothered as I always wear longish tops. I reckoned at £18 they were worth a try! Wearing them to a party tomorrow so can report back if you like.

queen.....ive tried searching the kelly jeans and it says they are no longer available?

am going shopping next week....this could be a headache.

I'd rather wear Asda jeans than Per Una jeans. Even though somebody told me that they fit well, I can't bring myself to try them.
