Berry red glossy lips

I am looking for some lippy assistance !

What I would really like is a berry colour glossy colour, not pinky more red.

I had a quick look around today & there seems to be a lot of pink base colours or ones with a glittery effect, which I'm not keen on.

Price not really issue.

Thanks Smile

Was just reading this and thinking that for autumn I would like a red berry lippy, and that matte lipstick might be the way to go, I don't like a glittery effect either, but this might not be right for you if you want glossy:

But the brands might be of some use anyway! xx

Not sure what specific colours they have at the mo, but YSL had some really nice deeper shades of lip gloss.

Northumberlandlass do you like lipstick or lipgloss?

applecrumbleandcream · 12/08/2011 21:59

I quite like this, looks like quite a nice glossy red/berry colour. Is this anything like what you're looking for?

Thanks guys Smile

Think I'm leaning more toward gloss than lip stick, but that's probably as I wear more gloss.

Will have a look at YSL, thanks !

Apple, think that seems to be a bit sparkly. Think I will have to spend another afternoon in the make up section of a department store ! Smile

I think I am envisaging a sheer, high gloss berry without glitter...

I bought a berry lipgloss from Clinique last year, (to go with a pair of shoes!). They should still have it, they do some nice deep shades. Non-glitter but plumping I think.

You should try Chantecaille lip chics. They have an amazing formulation which means they are super glossy but stay on like a lipstick. Ignoring the online colour chart - it's nothing like the colours IRL!!

They also have loads of sheer lipsticks here which are good for daytime.
