Well she's got a point really hasn't she re the beauty issue?
Also in total agreement with Caitlin Moran about big knickers. They are marvellous and men don't give a rats...... Nice to see some refreshing viewpoints starting to come out of late.

Burchill thing about being pretty? yeah.. agreed with most of it.

FernandoBanjo · 11/08/2011 22:49

Yeah, it's great, agree with both.

Totally disagree with you CUSTARDO.

Tortington · 11/08/2011 22:59

shocker

jasper · 11/08/2011 23:05

yes, I likes the Burchill beauty article

ChuckYouFarlie · 12/08/2011 14:15

Burchill so very right... not that I would admit to reading the paper she wrote it in.

What date was the Moran article? Can't find it even with my mad googling skillz

Chandon · 12/08/2011 15:13

I never wear big knicks, even when on my own.

What is so fabulous about them?

ElectricSoftParade · 12/08/2011 18:17

Think the Caitlin Moran ref is from her book How to be a woman. Is very, very good and all should read it. Although I do prefer g-strings, larger knickers just creap up, strings are there and stay there.

I waited patiently for Ms Moran to sign my book and can reveal she has perfect eyebrows and I simpered a bit.

MaryAnnSingleton · 12/08/2011 18:21

yes, agreed with the Julie Burchill thing

ElectricSoftParade · 12/08/2011 19:30

sorry creep

Haven't read the Birchill article, was it in the DM?

ElectricSoftParade · 12/08/2011 19:34

oh dear Burchill

It must be the g-strings, must be Grin

ChuckYouFarlie · 12/08/2011 19:54

Burchill article here Blush
someone SENT it to me, honestly! I would never... you know...
Blush Blush Blush

LucreziaDomina · 12/08/2011 20:04

Agree with everything Burchill says.
And I'd also add that losing it through age ( not that I was ever a beauty but I wasn't bad!) is completely liberating!
