Elemis products

Got a 20% off code for Elemis. Never used any of their products before and know nothing about them. Has anyone tried any Elemis products and did you rate them? if yes, what did you try and did you think it was worth the money? thanks in anticipation

They are very expensive. I've got the 20% code too and TBH not going to bother using it.

That said, they have some lovely stuff for pregnancy - I had a treatment recently and bought the Milk Bath as a treat for myself, but only get this when pregnant. Ditto the Camellia (sp?) Oil.

The Tri-enzyme resurfacing wash is amazing stuff. I used to have pretty much the whole elemis range, can't afford it anymore but have found the money to keep purchasing this wash as you really see the difference in my skin without it.

I don't rate it that much, especially the lavender shower gel - it was like washing up liquid! Toners were like any other (less expensive) toner.
I do like the sos cream.

Oh I did have a massage though that was really nice!

They do a nice scrub for about £20

I switched to Elemis after having my DD1. The range is lovely - beautiful fragrance but very gentle and I would describe as a bit 'wishy washy!'

When I spend a lot of money I like to really notice a change to my skin and I didn't really. I also splashed out on the SOS emergency cream for hormonal break outs and was disappointed as I didn't really notice a difference.

I would say that the exfoliator I used and subsequent face pack (can't remember what they were called - enzyme something) were quite effective and a relaxing treat for when I was chilling out in the bath - smelled lovely! However I like products to be life changing - (big statement!) and Elemis products didn't do this for me.

thanks for all replies Tillylove and anyone else - what other products other than Elemis have you noticed a real change for the better in your skin when you started to use them?
any thoughts (although of course i wont necessarily have a discount voucher for any recommendations!) v gratefully received!

Totally rate pro-collagen moisturiser. Since I discovered it I can not use anything else. It is probably my only luxury except my highlights! I bought at the Vitality show where it was less than half price but still it was over £50. Hate that it's so expensive but I can't stop using it...

Also use the tri/resurfacing wash and papaya enzyme exfoliator.

Hi, my friend got me hocked onto Sonya Skincare which I think is fantastic and because of the Aloe Vera content it really soaks through the skin! I have now joined and I get it 33% cheaper which is a bonus!! If you want more info let me know 07939 925972. Louise

I've had an Elemis facial, which was fantastic, and much better than the Clarins one I had (which brought me out in spots). I really like Jurlique, although that is also expensive! The Calendular cream makes a fantastic moisturiser for sensitive skin.

I love the pro-collagen moisturiser too, especially the oxygenating night cream, it is gorgeous, I swear my skin sighs with pleasure when I put it on. Other Elemis products are very nice, but not amazing enough to justify the prices IMO.

I love the franjipani shower gel and moisture melt.

I don't like Elamis TBH. I do love QVC.

I tried the milk bath when DS was a baby (for him and me) Our water is hard so it went a bit 'scummy'.It doesn't lather either so I didn't feel clean IYSWIM.
Got a skincare set, including ProCollagen Marine Cream.Its light and easily absorbed but didn't see any real difference ,especially considering the price.

Personally, I detest lavender with a passion, so alot of their products are ruled out for me.

Franjipani and monoi melt just smelled a bit off to me.Bit like those cheap luxery soaps (Camay, Lux)

Philosophy for me, all the way,
You need to try it to see if it works for you.It doesn't for me.

I really like La Roche Posay at the moment. I am 41 weeks pregnant and prone to hormonal skin so this has really kept my skin nice and fresh looking. I also like face bake cream from bobbie brown as a moisturiser - lovely and thick cream so you don't need much. I am a productaholic! x

I use pro collagen marine cream and love it. I really notice a difference if I change to something else, which I sometimes do in an attempt to save money. I also love their rose exfoliator, papaya enzyme mask and lavender repair mask. Was disappointed by SOS cream and milk bath tho.

Lordoftheflies Am with you on the philosophy range (and QVC), Their microdelivery peel is amazing.

I've used their Pro Collagen Marine Cream, which was ok, also used their cleanser, serum and eye and lip serum, not that impressed. I plan to try the Skeyndor range next, as I tried some samples and liked them.
