makeover planned, could do with some advice

i am tall, size 18-20, 13 weeks pregnant, got long auburn hair, wear glasses and i normally just wear black all over.
DP is taking me to meadowhall next weekend to buy lots of clothes. please help, i want to wear some nice maternity clothes and i'm lost at what colours or style to go for.

i need glasses soon and that's what i will go for, actually. my current pair are copper/redish.

goody!!.... i know in mothercare they have lovely stuff in there for clothes but not sure on the update colours atm though

the shopping trip was a big success. i also had my hair done. and i must say, with some make-up i look like i am finally blooming
