what to wear for an evening wedding reception

Dh and I are invited to an evening wedding reception but I have no real idea what to wear.

I do not do dresses and would really rather enjoy myself feeling comfortable than squeeze into a cocktail or evening dress.

I was hoping to wear black trousers and a floaty top like this - would that be OK?

Will most people have been there all day? If so, you might feel more comfortable in a floaty dress.

That outfit is too worky, sorry.

Agree that it's more suited to officewear than a wedding reception. I would always go for a dress/skirt but if you're not comfortable in one I think you need either a jumpsuit as tethersend suggested or a more evening appropriate top.
