What to do with huge collection of those pants that come with Gap dresses?!!!

I have a huge and ridiculous collection of those pants/nappy covers that come with baby gap dresses!!! Lots of them are still tagged & unused and they range from little sizes up to age 5.

Is there any use that anyone might have for them or should I bin them at once & stop being a ludicrous hoarder of stuff?

Um... sell them on Ebay with the dress they came with??

Kelly1978 · 02/12/2005 15:48

why don't u use them? I loved those to cover up the nappy.

merryTissmas · 02/12/2005 15:48

sew up the leg holes decorate with a little ric-rac and sell them on Ebay as designer handbags...

My daughter was out of nappies after for the age 3, 4 and 5 dresses! Somehow the dresses have got separated from the pants and now I just have the pants left. Most kids would be out of nappies before age 5 so I bet I am not the only weirdo with this problem
Handbag idea is very sweet

omg, I didn't realise they did them that old, how strange. I don't shop in gap.

twirlingaroundthechristmastree · 02/12/2005 16:04

Yes it is quite weird, isn't it?

I didn't think they came up that big. Their clothes are quite small though so maybe fitting large 2/3 year olds.
That said I think they look nice. Even though dd is only just out of nappies I would still be tempted to put the dressy knickers on too, over the top . Much nicer when she bends down than seeing her real knickers.

So what should I do with my vast collection of nappy covers age 3,4 & 5?

Bin 'em?

dusters? gerbil/rat hamster bedding for the winter?

twirlingaroundthechristmastree · 03/12/2005 17:53

I knew it, I have been pointlessly hoarding again

-Sew up the holes and use as toilet roll covers!!
-use as a shower cap (Ok , so it would be non-waterproof)
-market them as designer dog clothing ( "as worn by Paris Hilton's pooch" )
