How do I clean a cream leather bag?

It's a very soft leather, very expensive slouch bag. It really needs a clean - can anyone advise pleeeeese?

Facial cleansing milk. Baby wipes are too harsh if the leather is really soft.

go in russell & bromley and get leather cleaner. Take the bag with you so that they can see what sort you need. If it's an expensive bag I wouldn't risk home made remedies

Thanks nancy, I'm a bit worried about doing it home style. It was very expensive and very very soft leather. I might do a spot test with facial cleansing milk - that sounds nice and gentle.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest......leather cleaning spray?

Cointreau - good thinking batman.

I use collonil leather gel to clean a d then collonil waterstop to protect... I do it every month and my light camel bag has been perfect this Summer... Buy online, amazon, peony and Moore or mulberry.. :)
