Comfort is more important than fashion - but Im only 36 so I dont want old lady shoes!!
I walk a lot so they need to be durable and comfortable enough to wear all day.
Colour not important if the style and comfort is good

Any suggestions welcome :)

FitFlops. I heart mine. Very cushiony.

LauraIngallsWilder · 30/07/2011 21:38

I forgot to say that I absolutely cant wear heels so they must be flats with a strap round the ankle (cos otherwise either the shoe falls off or I fall over!)

I'm afraid that I get all my "wear all day" shoes from Clarks.

I'm only 37! But I have never ever had any rubbing or soreness. And they do make some quite stylish shoes these days tries to erase memories of frumpy school shoes from mind

DooinMeCleanin · 30/07/2011 21:41

these? They do a few colours

DooinMeCleanin · 30/07/2011 21:42

These are very pretty

SwearyMary · 30/07/2011 21:42

I have to have shoes with straps, however, I have some FitFlops and they stay on my feet. They are very comfortable. I bought the white leather ones so they go with everything but for some reason they get very dirty, even though my feet look clean Confused

LawrieMarlow · 30/07/2011 21:44

LauraIngallsWilder · 30/07/2011 21:46

Oooh DooinMeCleanin they are nice! Not cheap but I like them.

Fitflops, again. There are so many different styles now - not just 'flip flop' type - that you'll bound to find something flattering and uber-comfy!

LauraIngallsWilder · 30/07/2011 21:48

Ah yes Birkenstocks Id forgotten that name - Ill have a look at those.

My old pair are Clarks springers - I dont think clarks do them anymore? Well if they do I cant spot them!!

I've had my fitflops for two years and they are still going strong of that lessens the shock of the price? They are worn all year round. I use them as slippers in the winter.

welliesandpyjamas · 30/07/2011 21:51

I live in these

Amazingly comfy

moaningminniewhingesagain · 30/07/2011 21:52

these I have some already and bought more last week - they were £9.99 in the sale in Millets. Very comfy. Don't seem to be on Millets website ATM though

You can get them in other colours too.

My current favourites are DooinMeCleanin fitflops and MoaningWinnies from Millets are a bargain

I like these Birkenstocks

I bought the fitflops shown above a couple of weeks ago and they are the comfiest sandals I have ever had. Not had them off. They are not the prettiest but they are fab!

LauraIngallsWilder · 30/07/2011 22:12

Im narrowing it down to a choice!

Deffo either these fitflops

or these Birkenstocks

LauraIngallsWilder · 30/07/2011 22:17

Oh dear I have been distracted by my mums favourite Blush

Hotter

Am I too young for these?

or these?

CURLYMAMMA · 30/07/2011 22:17

Those are the fitflops I've got in the beigy colour. Would maybe get the tan ones if buying again as I think they'd look better against my milk bottle coloured legs.

bestmate · 30/07/2011 22:23

Laura, both of those are way too old!!!!!! If someone would explain how to do a link, I will show you the pair I have just bought, pretty please.

LauraIngallsWilder · 30/07/2011 22:29

Hi bestmate - scroll down a bit (below the window where you type) and you will see how links are done

I KNOW Im way too young for Hotter but they look so comfy - I especially like the second pair Blush

Thanks muchly, will do. Try ecco lyric and ecco love sandal on amazon. Both pairs are really comfy. Birkenstock cripple me, my instep is too high.
