Wedding outfit for dress-hating 8 year old girl!

Help! We're going to my sister's wedding in just under two weeks, and my 8 year old hates dresses. I'm not going to force her into one, but where can you get outfits that are smart but not 'pretty' for little girls?

I'm stuck!

Fancy shorts? You know, the kind with pleats/gathers and a belt and turnups etc? With nice top.

Or a jumpsuit/playsuit type thing?

My DD is a bit older now, but I always found Zara's children's dept. really good at that age for stuff that's a bit out of the ordinary and not 'pretty'.
