Starting a thread to discuss what everyone wore and importantly if we like it.

Will there be another hatgate ?

Catherine Kelly arrived looking very slim not sure on the orange hat.

My prediction is cream dress fitted simple clingy more sexy than s Kates.

thank god the verdict is finally in on nude courts...

zara looked really beautiful, although agree that the pleating on the waist wasn't overly flattering.

AitchTwoOh · 30/07/2011 21:54

i dearly want kirsty gallacher's dress, though, has anyone identified it?

lawnimp · 30/07/2011 21:55

personality in her face?

EightiesChick · 30/07/2011 23:05

Loved Kirsty Gallacher's dress and hat, and also Katherine Kelly's (sort of egg-yolk colour hat and bag). Have a look here for some good photos.

EightiesChick · 30/07/2011 23:06

And, there is no reason for anyone to have their nose 'corrected' if they're not bothered and their spouse is not bothered. I have no problem with Anne but on this point she should have kept quiet. She's not marrying him!

EightiesChick · 30/07/2011 23:08

Plus it seems odd to me for someone as unconcerned about fashion, looks etc as Princess Anne to suddenly decide that her son-in-law's nose is a major deal. Oh well. Rant over.

bestmate · 30/07/2011 23:14

We have friends at the wedding, I desperately wanted to see them. Won't give up hope of stage diving pics later!!!!

HerRoyalNotness · 30/07/2011 23:18

Crashes wedding thread

On the monsoon site there is a red floaty dress with sleeves,'front page, for whoever it was looking for a red dress

Gillybobs · 31/07/2011 00:15

Ooo t'was me, thanks will take a look

gregssausageroll · 31/07/2011 08:27

I just looked at the daily mail online. I really liked Catherine Kelly's outfit plus a sporting girl in red looked lovely - on first look I thought it was Pippa!

Didn't like what Kate had on nor Autumn. The bridesmaids looked lovely but I am torn with Zara's dress. I am just not convinced but I did think she would go for something understated. She looked radiant though.

MrsCampbellBlack · 31/07/2011 08:36

Just looked at the photos properly and think most of the guests look rubbish. Una Healey's handbag looked as though it cost £3 from primark and she just looks cheap.

Kirsty Gallagher's shoes were too high and her dress made her figure look rubbish and she has a fab figure.

Katherine Kelly - just looked wrong - too 'look at me'.

The Queen looked nice though Smile

And Zara did look very pretty and has lovely teeth Smile

Oh and loved the bridesmaids

And Natalie something in the red dress looked good too.

MrsCampbellBlack · 31/07/2011 08:37

Oh and had Eugenie used wonderweb to take that skirt up - looked like it needed a good press [have become my mother]

breatheslowly · 31/07/2011 09:21

Does Camilla wear the same thing to everything or do all of her clothes look the same?

I thought you weren't meant to wear nude tights (though I know nothing about fashion). The royals all seem to, is that because they are royal?

sue52 · 31/07/2011 09:47

As Kate is never seen without eyeliner, I am starting to think it's a tattoo line.

brookeslay · 31/07/2011 10:37

Agree with MrsCB Eugenie looked good a couple of times this year in Westwood type dresses which suit her much more.

Camilla has a look she is happy with a bit like the Queen Mum and her upturned hats.

Aitch am sure i read somewhere that kirsty gallaghers dress was from joseph? cant remember where i read it sorry

HTH

AitchTwoOh · 31/07/2011 13:09

cheers... if it was joseph i'll wait until the copy comes out at h and m, i think. it was a lovely pattern, i thought.

MrsCampbellBlack · 31/07/2011 17:15

Comptoir des Cotonniers has lots of stuff in similar print coming into store soon.

AitchTwoOh · 31/07/2011 17:51

oh i love their stuff (althugh on sale, preferably). actually i've seen the dress from the front now and it's not particularly flattering on her. but that sort of pattern is lush imo. cheers for the tip.

minko · 31/07/2011 18:25

I quite liked Zara's dress but hated that bit at the bottom that looked like an add-on. Like she'd grown and they'd had to sew on an extra 6 inches. Made the whole skirt look chunky and less flowy I thought.

SoupDragon · 31/07/2011 18:34

eightieschick, I'm sure that every report I've seen reported that Anne's nose comment was a joke.

Zara's make up is fabulous. Love the tiara and veil. Dress ok, a big 'meh' but overall, gorgeous effect.

Love the little bridesmaids, MOH looks fab but vile white stilettos. And hear hear to death of nude courts!

Katherine Kelly too 'look at me' but I do like it. Just not occasion appropriate.

Kirsty G looks underdressed and it makes her bum look bit - when it ain't!

Love the red dress the Natalie girl is wearing. Duchess Kate looks tres boring.

EightiesChick · 31/07/2011 20:54

SoupDragon OK, that's a relief. I didn't get that from when I read about it, but am prepared to believe that was me skimming because it does seem odd for Anne.

As I said on the other thread, I'm going to charitably assume that Kate deliberately dressed boringly to not upstage the bride. (Though we all know that her default dress setting seems to be boring - not that that is necessarily a setback if royal.)
