Is it just me- or does anyone think Fiona Bruce has a weird "nothing" hair styl?

Just watching her now and think her hair is awful- side fringe and flat sides with no real shape to it. Very old fashioned and does nothing for her. IMO.

T'is newsreader hair innit?

Crap by definition. They must put them through a big 'frumpify, mumsify and de-sexify' car hair wash on being hired.

KristinaM · 30/07/2011 09:37

Really? I quite like the fact that she looks normal and not the typical styled to within an inch of their lives Sleb

RoundOrangeHead · 30/07/2011 09:41

that arched eyebrow really annoys me

nevergoogle · 30/07/2011 09:42

i think they have their hair made by lego.

Bourbonchops · 30/07/2011 10:23

I've seen Susanna Reid on a Sunday morning topical discussion show and she's looking pretty bloody un-frumpy lately!
But yes, generally newsreader hair is a bit tame. I suppose they want to be taken seriously which obviously means you can't look attractive too. Hmm

ameliagrey · 30/07/2011 10:37

I think the others look okay TBH- just Fi.
it's the sort of quiffy fringe- reminds me of hairstyles some girls had at school in the 70s.
She used to have a kind of pixie crop but now she's grown it down it looks totally nothing- it's not a bob or anything.

Really? I think it looks good and suits her face and age. Some women should not have fashionable hair trends past a certain age.

melted Some women should not have fashionable hair trends past a certain age.

OMG- really? There is a huge difference between being frumpy and having hair that is "on trend".

Why on earth not?

Do you apply the same principle to clothes as well?
And at what age is it not right to be fashionable any more? 30? 40? 50? 60?
