Boden - It really is the same old stuff every year

I've just had a quick look on line. Mainly the childrens coats. The duffle coats? Got the exact pink one last year. Fleece lined jacket? It's been the same pattern two years running. Padded jackets? Ditto. The womens clothes? Same old, same old. And, even more expensive if that's even possible. No wonder all the sale stuff is left.

I am just returning nearly £500 worth.

I am swapping some things for a mini skirt - tweedy- pair of velvet jeans and a cashmere tank top. If i like them they will be my winter staples that will be worn a lot.

The fit is all over the place- the Uptown dress in an 8 was big on me, the knot front dress in an 8 was tight under bust.

The coats- velvet and rainy day mac- were huge in a 10 yet I have other Boden wintrer coats in a 10 which are small fitting.

You can either have a shift dress with short sleeves,( for winter and flabby arms?) a wrap or similar dress which makes you look 6 months gone, or a sack like the cord dresses.

Agree the dresses don't offer a good selection - also that sizing all over the place. Not what you should expect at these prices.

It dire. I have just got a couple of bits from the Summer season which are good bargains. I cannot believe this Seasons clothes. Shocking and frumpy and I cant believe how much they are charging.

Not just the same as the winter version but, the same pattern as the Summer ones as well!!! Spotty coats are always lovely but they are more for best. I cannot believe the puffy jackets exactly the same in the pink and purple. We still have them hanging up. The womens clothes are not inspiring me at all. The prices are a joke

I find a lot of the tops too short in the length and some of them that do fit are shockingly tight on the arms.

Yes, all the tops are really too short for me - except to wear with skirts and I don't really have any skirts I like at the moment!

Only tunics are long enough - and some of them only come in garish colours/prints.

Yes but now there's a petite range so I can get the same old thing in a size that fits.

Nice if they could also do something similar for those of us who are tall!

I bought a denim dress from there last year or even the one before. It came in denim or cord and I have worn it so much the linings fraying. I wouldn't have minded if that had been repeated year after year!!
