I know it's not technically style & beauty but the bride to be is both stylish & beautiful and I'm tasked with finding her them a wonderful wedding present.

You ladies have taste, and I have little.....

Wedding - in September, little boutiquey hotel, very small, nice, bit of a 1920s thing going on (but not excessively so)

Her - tall, glam, sporty, individual, not one of the pack
Him - don't know him well, but sporty, kind, quite quiet

They have all the housey things one could ever need.

What the heck to do? Budget - haven't thought really, more about finding the right thing....then we'll worry about the ££.

Those with suggestions - over here please.

I know it's house-y but one of the best presents we got were some steak knives. We've used them LOADS.

Membership of Mr & Mrs Smith copy of their book and vouchers.

A gift experience ir Hot air balloon, Cookery for two they do male one now even beer making and she gets a dinner party course for example.

Vintage wine from the year they met I did this for my DP

Restaurant vouchers a michelin star or high class establishment

Theatre vouchers and money towards stay or combined theatre package

Hot air balloons have been done, liking the Mr & Mrs Smith thing/hotel vouchers - will look into it.

Not sure about cooking - not really a 'high value' skill in their house.

Wine - have done that for someone else (all got drunk well before it was supposed to!), but feel that these guys need something more tangible...

Art? Can one buy vouchers for original artwork anywhere, or is that just a bad idea?

You could commission a piece of art of their wedding Venue if its pretty enough. Lovely memento.

I so want to buy someone the Tiffany Pizza cutter!!! You know that you'd use it forever and tell everyone where it was from!!

Sadly they stopped doing glass candlesticks, I have bought them as wedding gifts many times and they began at £35 each so it looked impressive but didn't cost too much. Not sure if they still do them in store? The packaging is so beautiful....

£100 is a good price and gives lots of options. The show attracts lots of up and coming artists.

If you think it is too subjective steer clear. If they like art and the option to snap up a bargain then it is for them.

I don't think she's a Tiffany girl, and he certainly isn't a Tiffany chap.... But happy to consider anything anyone else has loved...

Meet them up in London, have a nice meal together, look at some art and leave them to choose something to buy....

Petit - funnily enough I had looked at that a while back, but then thought - nah it'll just get in the way once the parties are over...(!! For some maybe they never are...)

A set of personalised stationery-notecards, writing paper and envelopes, with their name and address on-only really works if she's changing her name, I suppose. But lots of gorgeous styles to choose from, whatever their style, and then they'll have something to write the thank you letters on. Smythson is fab but £££, but there are plenty of other, cheaper options.

A really beautiful silver photo frame. Everyone wants a nice frame for "the" wedding photo to go on their mantlepiece.

I used to get everyone a really fabulous leather photo album, but people dont tend to use them so much now.

Of course my friend did buy my other friend a brick and a bucket, which is probably the most well remembered present of all time amongst our friends!

Sounds daft but if they have a garden, what about a tree or a plant? DH planted a tree the year we got married and a rose bush for each DC and I love looking at them now.

Or contribute to something nice on honeymoon?

i don't think you need to be good cook to have one of these on display in your kitchen - i'd love one!!

Sadly they are in a rented house currently so sadly the tree and stationery ideas wouldn't work - although what great suggestions. Hmm why did no one give us a tree.....

(Might pinch the rosebush idea for all future baby gifts though!)

Chopping board - I like that, although we have friends who were given one and they always seem to laugh at it (although they use it often...)

Donation towards honeymoon, I guess because she got me something that I can look at and be reminded of her everytime I do I was kind of hoping for something similar.

You could get them a bay or olive tree in a wooden planter, then it doesn't matter if they move house.

Do they like wine? What about a nice crystal decanter, or maybe a champagne bucket with a bottle of crystal or other similar champagne.
