Like the style but not the pattern sorry.

MissKittyEliza · 22/07/2011 13:35

Not good. Horribly old fashioned.

noddyholder · 22/07/2011 14:25

God I hate gok wan and his banger talk He has no taste why can't anyone see it.

polyhymnia · 22/07/2011 14:30

Agree with you on that Noddy. Am large myself and I think he makes large women look grotesque rather than stylish I'm afraid.

noddyholder · 22/07/2011 14:34

He is very per una in his approach. Too much going on ruffles pin on rosettes big hideous hair and jewellery and tight underwear Grotesque. They all look likethis when he's finished.

tethersend · 22/07/2011 14:39

Dress is frumpy. It screams "Mother of the Bride".

How about this?

Pagwatch · 22/07/2011 14:39

It is being styled with boleros on that page. That should be all you need to know.

If they reigned the print in and it was in a decent fabric it would be better. But sweaty and wearing a big print is a bit grim

GetOrfMoiLand · 22/07/2011 14:39

I hate that knotted/wrap dress look.

And the material looks like something you would make antimaccassars out of.

LovelyDaffs · 22/07/2011 14:42

Frumpy, I'm too young for it and I'm old.

archanat10 · 22/07/2011 14:44

tethersend, nice dress, bt i don't like the colour .Plus i feel its too bland a dress.Like no cuts, no design.Too plain for me

tethersend · 22/07/2011 14:47

It wasn't for you, archanat10 Grin

I saw the ones you linked to, I think we have very different taste Wink

archanat10 · 22/07/2011 14:54

Hehe, i know it was not for me. i just happened to see your dress. so that is why i said, no hard feelings. after all its just clothes ;)

tethersend · 22/07/2011 14:58

JUST clothes?

ChaoticAngelofGryffindor · 22/07/2011 15:02

I liked it, Tether's dress that is. Then again I liked the DP one too but not the OP's one I'm afraid.

Mumleigh · 22/07/2011 15:07

I hope not! I bought it this afternoon! Was worrying all the way home that it may be a bit old for me but it felt so nice on and did wonders for my figure. Also a size 12 fitted perfectly when usually I have to buy size 10 skirts and size 14 tops and dresses are a no no!

harrietlichman · 22/07/2011 15:13

If you like it, you like it - but if you are asking about it you must have doubts. I bought something from Per Una once and wore it to work - another woman in the office (nearly 20 years my senior) said 'O00h I've got that top!' - I haven't shopped there since!

archanat10 · 22/07/2011 15:20

harrietlichman sounds like an bad experience ;)

archanat10 · 22/07/2011 15:23

sorry a*

Gillybobs · 22/07/2011 15:41

My mum is 61 and would def not wear that dress. Or indeed almost anything from Per Una. Sorry, very very old fashioned.

MissBeehiving · 22/07/2011 18:45

I like the one Noddy linked to.

pointydog · 22/07/2011 18:55

Not so much frumpy as dull and nothingy.

PetiteMum · 22/07/2011 19:45

I returned it..... Mainly because I'm not in love with it. And my new rule is to be in love with it.......just cleared out my wardrobe and don't want to accumulate more unworn tat
