God no - am dry enough - powder makes me look about 98.

largeginandtonic · 20/07/2011 15:51

I have abandoned Vitalumiere in favour of Estee Lauder double wear. The light one. Is fab.

No powder needed.

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/07/2011 15:51

Have you worn your VWA frock yet?

Powder is the death knell for women over 35! It settles in all the cracks and gives a miss haversham look no matter how fine.

ShirleyKnot · 20/07/2011 15:57

Yes, wear vitalumiere and a very light dusting of powder. VERY LIGHT DUSTING.

ShirleyKnot · 20/07/2011 15:57

Shut up noddy.

GetOrfMoiLand · 20/07/2011 15:59

I have never used powder, I am rather dry skinned though.

I tried some bare escentual mineral shit once, I looked as if I had deposited the hoover contents all over my face, horribly powdery imo. Emperors new clothes, mineral shit.

I am just going to say the words By Terry, one day you will listen.

Teint Miracle or Photogenic Luminsences from Lancome are both brilliant.

Btw if you use a primer your foundation doesn't glide off and need powder to fix it anyway.

GetOrfMoiLand · 20/07/2011 15:59

Stop hitting noddy over the head with heavy-bottomed saucepans, shirl.

noddyholder · 20/07/2011 16:00

My mix is brilliant not as dewy/greasy as VL and about a third the price. I went to a make up clearance recently and bought loads of stuff to try inc one face cream which no one wanted for £4 because the box was too glitzy when i looked it up it was £260 Shock it is amazing but I will never afford again. It came with a foundation called parure gold and it is amazing if you have a tan

GetOrfMoiLand · 20/07/2011 16:05

I am very jealous of the words 'make up clearance'.

Mind you I have just found a shop in Swindon outlet which is all mac, Chanel, Clinique make up and perfumes at rock bottom prices.

It is too close to where I work to be safe. I cannot just pop in at lunchtime, I come out with new stuff.

noddyholder · 20/07/2011 16:06

It was amazing I bought so much stuff for presents Lots of mac and guerlain Have a carrier bag full and I spent £90.

snailsontour · 23/07/2011 10:31

Oh I'm so jealous of your haul! Where abouts was/is the clearance place?
