Bandeau or one shoulder dress or dressy thing. Wedding.

I am not very adventurous when it comes to shops. I have a wardrobe full of LK Bennett, Coast, Fenn Wright Manson and Hobbs (or I wish I did, but I do have a few of them and they're just right for me).

I have a wedding to go to in Kent in October (in a castle or similar) and DH informed me the other day that I should expose shoulders neck and ears more often (in a slightly salacious kind of husbandly pervy way, snigger snigger). The wedding's the only remaining opportunity to get ponced up

So I'm wanting a dress or a sort of palazzo pant jumpsuit thing. Long, if I've going to be exposed up top. I tend to be more comfortable in block colours and structured shapes than prints and floatyness. Although that's not to say I'd say no to new ideas. I am 5'4", short dark hair, fair-ish skin. Will be chasing round after my 26 month toddler at wedding too.

Ideas please?! Budget not huge - but not flashy/"designer". Am a bit snobby about natural fibres - well, they keep their shape and colour far better. Buy cheap buy twice etc.
