What do fashionable ladies in their late thirties wear on a night out on the town with the girls. I live in a remote town in Ireland and don't get out that much. I am visiting friends in England this week, and they have arranged a girlie night out on saturday night. I need some help on deciding what to wear, any ideas gratefully accepted. I am 5 foot 5 size 12/14 and a pear shape i think.

Skinny jeans, heels and a nice top? French connection has a good sale on?

irishmama · 18/07/2011 21:27

Have nice jeans and heels. What kind of top do you think longish?

Geordieminx · 18/07/2011 21:37

nice print

Size 12/14. Age 39. Dark hair, blue eyes, medium skin tone. Struggling to think of any best bit, possibly slim waist and slim ankles. Slightly flabbypost baby tummy, Big bum , small boobs. Not sounding too hopeful is it!

lovely with black skinnies

irishmama · 18/07/2011 21:41

Thanks for the looks Geordieminx. Prefer the second one, not really a blouse person. Would black skinnies look o.k at this time of the year?

dress

Do not worry about size of arse...you cannot see therefore it does not exist Grin

Agree. First is too casual.

Ruffle top is tres flattering!

irishmama · 18/07/2011 21:46

Would you wear that with jeans or leggings or on it's own? Are leggings and long tops still in fashion at the moment?

Am coming over tommorow. Am going to try and find a top to wear. There is a very big shopping centre very close buy to where i am staying.

Depending on length, your legs and the weather then yes could be worn on it's own.

Be brave!
