Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I'm looking for a nice (stylish) watch for DS's birthday - he'll be 7.

Something simple, easy to read at a glance that won't fall apart after a week, or look silly in a year's time. I quite like the lego ones, but DH says we should get something more 'classic' (Hmm)

Don't want to spend too much as he's getting other presents too.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I bought ds2 a timex one with an elastic strap which he finds more comfy that others he has had.

From here

DS2 chose the aeroplane one. He is happy with it, can tell the time well and it's comfy to wear. Not too expensive and not a cartoon character in sightGrin

Just to add, the lego watches aren't that sturdy tbh.

I had one for a whileBlush but DS2 played with it and broke itHmm

Thanks doyouthinktheysaurus. Looks good. Not sure what kind of strap is best for a sweaty little wrists....

The elastic strap seems to work for ds2. He had a watch with a nylon velcro strap before as did ds1 but neither of them will wear the watches as they are uncomfortable.
