Help! I need a pirate costume!

OMG, I cant quite believe I have agreed to this! I need to dress up as a pirate, or at the very least a wench. Has anyone seen any flouncy shirts or skirts or velveteen long jackets (that come in quite large sizes )? It has to be something I can use again so not too daft.

Please help!

Have you got a stripey top? Wear with black trousers/jeans, long boots, big gold/silver hoops, triangle of red fabric as a headscarf, and make an eye patch from some black card.

And if you've got a stuffed toy parrot knocking around take that too.

Yes stripy top with a mans waistcoat and cut off jeans with patches sewn on, plus a blackened out front tooth.

You can make a hook from cardboard covered in kitchen foil.

Shorts. Stripey tights. White flouncy blouse. Cheap waistcoat.

OK have calmed down a bit! Thanks for the ideas. Its for a party. I wish I had the figure for some of those outfits! Am going to go for a blousy white blouse and a waist coat I think, normal big skirt with red sash and tin foil sword. Half wench half pirate. :o

Don't forget the eye patch :)
