Size 12 - which is true? M&S or TopShop

I am not even going to attempt to get into my size 10 jeans post baby. I'm dropping weight I think (I don't have scales, going by clothing) and have ordered two lots of jeans (M&S and Topshop) in a 12. The former are a little baggy, the latter I can do up but I am 'vacuum packed' and have a definite muffin top.

Who is more true to a size 12? Secretly hoping you don't say TopShop because this means I'm basically a size 14 with two not one dress sizes to drop!

Ha! Dunno but they all fit - and I wear thongs, so they're very snug!

In all seriousness, I genuinely don't find there to be a massive difference in the sizing from shop to shop. Except Monsoon - their clothes are mahoosive! But they're also shite (IMHO) so it's not a problem!

Saw my Top Shop fit model friend last night! And the official measurements for a Top Shop size 10 are... [drum roll]

Bust: 89 cm (35 inches/34B)
Waist: 69.2 cm (27 inches)
Upper hips: 87 cm (34.25 inches)
Lower hips: 91 cm (36 inches)

This is actually not as tiny as I thought. She said she is an 8 or 10 in other shops - usually in between the two sizes. So Top Shop runs a bit small, but not that much.
