Who fancies my chances at making 'something' to stick on my head for a wedding? Come and snurk.

Tomorrow I leave Scotland, and I will be in France by Friday night for a wedding on Saturday.

I have a fab dress. 50s style, and covered in multicoloured fruit print. Honestly, it's fab Hmm

I've looked for a hat, or fascinator or hair clip and haven't found anything i like.

I do however, have access to a fabric shop and a craft shop tomorrow on my lunch break. What do you reckon? I'm thinking yellow, fabric flowers, or something.

Any ideas?

What about some sort of elaborate beaded hair clip?

AnyFuleKno · 13/07/2011 21:59

Whoops, you said hair clip.

I'm thinking a pretty scarf knotted in your hair?

i will have to make it in the car or on the boat too. Grin

my hair is short and choppy. a scarf would need to be super slinky to work.

How edgy are you fashion wise? I'm sortvof thinking of a wartime hair do, maybe a Rosie the riveter stle headscarf, maybe with a pinned up fringe

nevergoogle · 13/07/2011 22:11

i'll give anything a go, but do love to wear vintage.
my fringe is too short i think. i used to do victory rolls but can't now.
have no problem going for something a bit bonkers, it's a wedding after all!

i think something floral attached to a thin hairband would work.
i have a black hair clip that is ok. but really fancy yellow.
