Next out of stock

anyone had experience with items from Next online being out of stock? want a pair of boots - they are out of stock - phoned several help lines and noone knows if any more stock coming in. They just told me to keep trying the website to see if they suddenly come in again?!

Has anyone else had this? Did your item come back into stock - I am desperate for these boots!

i work in a shop and we have the same problem.. some things are just unpredictably popular... the warehouse runs out and they can't be ordered.

Yes, my mums having this problem atm with some boots I think or it could be a top, not sure but anyway she can't get them.

Yes. I want to buy ds an outfit for Chistmas, but they've sold out. Its only November. Anyway, i'm desperate for this outfit, so i've e-mailed them over a week ago, and still no reply.

no, a different shop...
but obviously there are only a certain amount of things made and unfortunately it can take a long time for the company to be able to get more stock in, hence the shop staff not knowing when things will be available

I ahd to wait for a few weeks for my boots onlyfor them to arrive and not fit. Still ahve them to send back, hope I am not too late!!

troublesmummy - I think it said on their website allow 7 days for an answer to email - blommin' ridiculous if you ask me!
Let me know what they say.... I too am desperate for my boots - looked all round the shops today, but didn't see any others I liked anywhere

I've whinged in various places about this.

I've given up trying to order from Next this season although there's about £600 stuff I want to try on (of which I will rob buy 1 or 2 items!)

Multiply that by thousands of customers... and the potential impact on next year...

twinset - maybe they are the ones I want what style and size are they - she asked ever hopefully!

ooh in our shop you can ring a number for head office and they will tell you if any shop in the country has what you want in stock still.... perhaps next can do that too?

unfortunately we don't transfer between stores, so people have to pay to have stuff posted if the manage to find it though!

don't think they would be that helpful - they never seem to be whenever I've phoned up - but will give it a try

just phoned them - the item actually says "Sold Out" and apparently this means they will not get any more stock in - although another person from Next told me differently when I called them earlier in the week!
Now I am more confused and depressed

i have pordered some jeans that said out of stock once and are in again now,
i have also had the sold out "label" which i took to mean they had sold out and wouldn't b getting more in.

If it is Winter stock I'd expect it to be available mid November at latest and then sell through ie. no further deliveries into warehouse after that. It is more difficult with less seasonal merchandise such as jeans as they may carry on a style into the Spring range.

lol bagpussmice they are the lace up victoriana Boots in black size 6. They are lovely but my chubby calves just won't fit into them!
