Do anti chlorine shampoos work?

DM is swimming 3x per week after her GP suggested it for arthritis. She thinks the chlorine is damaging her very fine grey hair.

She has a swim cap but finds the water still gets in.

Are the anti chlorine hair products around worth a try?

I used to swim a lot and used a shampoo called Ultra Swim which was the original and best imo. Boots own and some of the others just didn't work as well, they may have improved though, this was quite a few years ago. My hairdresser would complain how much my hair smelt of chlorine all the time until I started using it.
