So, AIBU for just not getting Lush?

My children buy me stuff from there all the time for Mothers' day etc and I can see the joy in buying from there, the ditzy packaging and luscious smells etc. BUT why is it fun to use bath bombs which leave you and your bath covered in glitter/petals/twigs etc.

I have dutifully dropped them into the bath so the wee ones can see them whizz and fizz etc but I then never want to get into my bath once it has 'bits' floating in it.

Enlighten me please.

I think it appeals more to people who don't have to clean the bath themselves.

Can I defend two things from Lush - Vanillary perfume and Veganese conditioner. Both fab.

Things that I don't like about Lush - the overpriced bath bombs (average cost £2.50 per bath) and the parabens. They make a big to-do about using natural, environmental friendly ingredients and ok, to be fair on the whole they do, but they still use parabens in their products which, for most people looking to use more natural and groovy products, is not good. Oh, and they stick cocoa butter is pretty much everything, and it gives me spots. Boo.

YA definately NBU. Twiggy bathbombs are inexplicable and wrong.

If only Maryz DH thinks it's only truly a present from the children if they have chosen it themselves. But NQSD you have given me my first ever warm glow when thinking about a sparkly lush bath bomb.

However 'Get thrush with Lush' is genius' !!!
