Am big lover of the 50's trend at the minute and wandered if anyone had seen any great pieces on the high street recently? If so would love to see some links :)

Love how flattering they are for curvier women!

so so want a Peggy Would dress - they have nice ones in their ready to wear range too but still comes in at over £200 - has anyone seen any similar necklines to the Peggy would dresses lately on the uk high street??- sorry for thread hijack but im sure we are still on topic??

I have the Shaheen Dream in the turquoise polka dot, it's fab and very wearable for lots of occasions

I would say if you want a Peggy Would then you need to either pay the money and get the Whirlingturban or find a talented local dressmaker to knock one up for you - that neckline is very hard to get right and even if you find one on the high street chances are it won't sit right. The whirlingturban ones will sit either on the shoulder or off - or you could get it as a two piece so you'd get more wear out of it?

Ooh, I didn't know you could get the Peggy Would made as a 2 piece. I would definitely get more wear out of it that way. Will probably still be a while before I end up getting it though.

I think it's quite new the separates thing on Whirlingturban, and they don't have photos of all the styles as two pieces yet, but it's on the website.
