Pale neutral pink nail polish recommendations?

I'm fed up with my nails looking uncared for so, can anyone recommend a good neutral nail polish. I like pale rosy pinks. Preferably one that looks good with just one coat (when I'm in a real hurry) and also with two (when I have an extra five minutes!). Also I have a problem with all the polishes, etc. I've tried, including Nail Envy, chipping and peeling in less that a day, so any with better staying power would be great.

Ballerina by Chanel is very nice, it lasts well too.

Rimmel from their French manicure range in French Rose shade which is number 445 it's cheap I know but does last a long time. It also has a wider brush which makes it easy to apply

I was gonne say Ballerina by Chanel too although its pink(ish)... another Chanel one is called Flame Rose I think... paler, less pinky. I've stopped using Chanel tho tbh as found it chipped a bit (although maybe i spend too long with my hands in the sink)... I really like YSL - less chipping. No 14 could be one you like....

oh there is also a lovely OPI one - cant remember the name of it now though, if I remember I'll have a look when I go upstairs!

Mavala has a good selection- Ih ave one which is the pink in their french manicure set and they do another which is more a grey pink which is very flattering. also they are under £4 a bottle.

Thanks everyone, you've given me lots of options and some new brands I'd never heard of. Hopely I'll be able to find a good selection on my next shopping trip to John Lewis.

I'd forgotten all about shellac 'til it was rec'd on a thread earlier today - it lasts for 2-3 weeks without chipping, comes off with nail varnish and has a pale pink shade!
