As a 40-something size 12 are these dresses too mutton?

I have been after a maxi dress for ages but havn't found one that suits me until I tried on these. But are they too mutton for a 40-something??

No, go for it, they are both very pretty, i'm 43 and would wear them (if I wasn't 5'1!)

No, they're lovely. Wear with brown/tan wedges or diamente flip flops and an oversize clutch or hobo shoulder bag. Along with huge dark oversize sunnies and a few gold pendant chains maybe..

You can easily dress these up (as above) or down, with a denim jacket and flats...
