Fuzzy face problems

I have a very hairy face - fine, colourless hair, longish round my sideburns, shorter and more wirey round my chops.

I am at a loss as to what to do with it. I've tried plucking (hair too copious), and hair removal cream (leaves me with burns, even the sensitive face ones, and delightful stubble).

Any solution needs to be either permanent, or something I can quickly do at home myself. I don't want to commit to regular trips to the beautician for threading or waxing or some such.

I don't want to be a hairy old witch.

Hmmm, I used to have this. Long fine blonde hair around the sides of my face, which didn't bother me too much, but I also had darker hairs around the rest of my face. So I had laser hair removal on my whole face. After 8 sessions and then a long gap it's pretty much all grown back and where the soft, downy, almost invisible but quite long hairs were, there are now shorter but dark and thicker hairs in their place. If I'd have known that would happen I would've been happier just to leave the peach fuzz there, even if it was quite long.

I'd use the Veet wax strips, the ones for facial skin. Cheap as chips and ass effective as salon job. once you get the hang of it, it only takes a minute. I tend to alternate waxing and bleaching each week (bleaching useful while the hairs are too short to wax but still visible). Obviously if your hair is blonde you don't need to bleach.

So that's lasering out then, Kittens. Plus I thought it worked best on dark hair, rather than my blonde stuff.

I might try the wax strips, Sprinkles. Probably when I have several days where I don't have to go anywhere, after what I did to my bikini line, last time I waxed it TMI alert...( I didn't know at the time you needed to pull the skin taut. My whole fanjo turned purple).

Much easier to wax your face than your vag! Get the "sensitive" strips. You will be a bit red for an hour or so after: I do

Threading! I have my whole face threaded (eyebrows, chin, upper lip, side burns etc)

It takes about 25 minutes and last time I paid £15. In my experience, the cost of threading can vary so much - the best bet is usually to find a small local place run by Asian women rather than go to a big department store. A lovely Indian lady does mine and she is so quick.

It isn't pain free - my top lip definitely makes my eyes water but it's not horrific. I'd say that I have it done about every 3-5 weeks, depending on if there's a particular occasion that I want to be fuzz free for.

Find someone who does sugaring. This is so good and its not a painful as waxing. I had my entire arms done, no problem
