Ok I have dark hair, think the New Duchess in colour and length and old hag/witch in style.
I need to be able to tie it up for work and like it long so what do I get done
I am 34 and a Mum of 4 so it needs to be low maintenance, it is also dead straight and very thick but I cant have a fringe as it sticks out at an odd angle
TIA

can you have some layers cut in around the frint - so the shortest one about jaw length and then layering down from there? It might break it up a bit and you keep the length that way so can tie it back.

of course I meant 'front' not frint

Thats prob what I will do, I am afraid of hairdressers and always panic before I go as I am vain as I don't seem to explain what I want very well

mine is a bit like that - I just ask them to layer it around my face, it looks nice and gives long hair a bit more interest!

Are you sure you can't have a side swept fringe? Very flattering and if you have the cowlicky thing it sort of works quite well.

RichTeaAreCrap · 04/07/2011 19:40

i agree Tatty - mine is long and layered and I have just grown out a blunt fringe into a side swept one, it looks much better.

Clever people I never thought of that, I always just said no to any fringe, it would def be different for me Thank you
